1、During the maintenance of the forklift, all the important parts removed must be thoroughly cleaned and blown clean with compressed air before they are ready to be installed back, so as not to affect the service life of the forklift with residual dirt.

2、If the forklift spare parts process contact surface, if there are quality defects, it must be repaired before installation, otherwise it is easy to cause dangerous faults in the process of use.

3、Forklift nut with flat washer, washer, cotter pin, safety gasket and other small parts, should have the forklift manual with corresponding spare parts.

4、The main bolts of the forklift must be replaced if they are deformed or elongated, and the threads of the bolts should extend within one to three teeth of the nut. General bolts are allowed to thread not less than the nut, or in the case of not affecting the use of its effect, can extend the nut more than three teeth;

5、Forklift maintenance personnel should use torque wrenches to tighten nuts and bolts, whether removed or not, when inspecting forklift to prevent the risk of loose fasteners during forklift operation.

6、Used copper, iron, asbestos, paper and cork gaskets, etc., can still be packed and used under the condition of full use. All kinds of gaskets shall not be painted;

7、Before installation, the oil seal of leather materials for maintenance of forklift must be immersed in a mixture of oil and kerosene heated to 60℃ for 5-8min before loading. Rubber oil seal in the friction part should be coated with gear oil, in the installation of the oil seal of the iron shell and seat ring should be coated with zinc white paint.

8、The machined surface of the parts cannot be damaged by direct hammering with a hammer. Soft metal plate or pad must be used.

9、The hydraulic pump, hydraulic distributor and hydraulic steering device should be tested, and the test can be partially or completely disintegrated for forklift maintenance.
